Your host, Judge David Johnson, presents a triple threat of cinematic cheese. This episode is not for the lactose intolerant!
First, Judge Brett Cullum strips Paul Verhoeven and Joe Eszterhas' SHOWGIRLS to its sequined pasty core. From conception (with Madonna and Drew Barrymore) to execution (Gina Gershon and Elizabeth Berkley), you might just want to Netflix it again.
Next, just in time for the holiday, Judge Brendan Babish prosecutes HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH as the only movie in the series that has nothing to do with Michael Myers. The relocation of Stonehenge to Southern California? Evil masks activated by television? Bugs eating children's heads? You don't see that everyday.
And last but not least, Judge Erick Harper goes deep into the SciFi archive for STARCRASH (aka The Adventures of Stella Star), an uber-cheap knockoff of STAR WARS. Starring David Hasselhoff, Christopher Plummer, and Hammer Horror maven Caroline Munro, with a score by legendary composer John Barry. "Imperial Battleship... Halt the flow of time!" You can't Netflix this one, but it is available on DVD at Amazon.com.
